Performance analysis
When one of our key customers in Scandinavia, Telenor, wanted to understand how competitive products performed in their market space, they approached Excentis, a highly regarded independent RF/Wi-Fi testing house that carries out detailed performance analysis.
The focus was to understand how all the available competitive ISP routers behave in multi user real world scenarios using common applications that would be used in a home, summarised as:
- Video Conferencing
- Streaming Media
- Gaming
The results were a validation for Icotera as it showed that our i4882 Wi-Fi 6 Router was the leader in all areas, providing the best experience and performance, with even our Wi-Fi 5 i4850 router scoring better than some vendors' Wi-Fi 6 routers.
